BIOGraphy
Sound Commander, founded in 2025, is an independent songwriting, production, and artist management hub dedicated to developing distinctive musical identities with long-term vision. Created as a creative umbrella rather than a traditional label, Sound Commander focuses on authenticity, emotional depth, and strategic artist growth across genres – from modern Schlager and folk-pop to soft rock, storytelling ballads, and contemporary crossover projects.
At the core of Sound Commander is Wolfgang Ertl, a songwriter, producer, and artist manager with much experience in music creation and creative direction. His work is defined by strong narrative songwriting, clarity of emotion, and close collaboration with artists to shape both their sound and their artistic persona. Rather than following trends, Wolfgang emphasizes timeless songwriting, honest expression, and sustainable artistic development – from first concept to release strategy and visual identity. All lyrics are written by Wolfgang himself – drawing from a body of personal poetry spanning over three decades as well as newly crafted stories and contemporary themes – while the musical arrangements are carefully developed and refined with modern production tools supported by artificial intelligence under human supervision and control for the final cut.
Sound Commander currently manages and develops a diverse roster of genres and artists, including Aria Inea, Werner Beidl, John Edgar Lewis, Richard Dean Furthermoore, Brooklyn Brothers and Arctic Instinct. Each project is guided individually, with Sound Commander serving as a creative anchor – connecting songwriting, production, branding, and release strategy into a coherent artistic journey.
